Shooting a birthday celebration celebration can easily be a genuine challenge. From the arriving of the kids, to the party games, blowing out the candles on the birthday cake, and opening presents, there’s a lot to do! Below are some excellent pointers for capturing all the fun on film from professional photographer Nigel Barker:.

1) Use an enhanced video camera with functions that make it simple to get quality pics.

2) Must have extra batteries and memory card handy. Or at least make sure your existing memory card is not at full capacity.

3) Deal with existing light, and turn on the “fill” flash when you need additional light or raise your ISO to a greater setting.

4) Capture the story of the celebration- start capturing as guests show up, when the birthday cake is being brought out or likewise as kiddies play.

5) Use intriguing camera angles and shades. Attempt capturing via the balloon or down by the children’ swinging feet.

6) Readjust your aperture. A lesser aperture obscures the background to stress your subject.

7) Play around with your video camera’s artistic mode settings. Likewise, think about buying a portrait lens for simple portrait pics.
